Przedmiotem projektu jest rozbudowa Zespołu Szkół Plastycznych w Gdyni przy ul. Orłowskiej 39 o salę na cele kulturalne, jako miejsca prezentacji dziedzictwa kulturowego, łącznik, zaplecze sanitarne, magazyn oraz dwie pracownie plastyczne. Budynek zaprojektowano jako jednokondygnacyjny z antresolą, przeznaczoną na potrzeby sali. Projektowany budynek łączy się z modernistycznym budynkiem szkoły przeszklonym dwupoziomowym łącznikiem. Nawiązując do stylu, który dominuje w tej części miasta, składa się z dwóch prostych białych brył. W ramach projektu przewidziano również zakup wyposażenia sali tj. meble i sprzęt audio do prowadzenia działalności kulturalno-edukacyjnej. Po zakończeniu realizacji projektu Zespół Szkół Plastycznych w Gdyni planuje wprowadzić cyklicznie imprezy, dotyczące Dyskusyjnego Klubu Filmowego oraz spotkania literackie. Podczas tych spotkań będą prezentowane na dużej sali filmy, które często nie trafiają do kin oraz telewizji. Grupa będzie mogła przeanalizować film i podyskutować na jego temat. Ze względu na duże zainteresowanie teatrem, zostanie utworzone kółko teatralne. Uczestnicy będą mogli zarówno uczestniczyć w teatrze, jak i być odbiorcami spektaklu z możliwością krytyki oraz szerokiej dyskusji. Dodatkowo zostanie założony zespół muzyczny oraz chór, a także będą organizowane zajęcia taneczne. Stałym wydarzeniem będą wystawy prac plastycznych. Planowane jest około 10 wystaw rocznie. Planuje się wzrost liczby odwiedzających o 3000 osób w skali roku. (Polish)

The subject of the project is the expansion of the School of Plastics in Gdynia at ul. Orłowska 39 for a room for cultural purposes, as a place of presentation of cultural heritage, a liaison, sanitary facilities, a warehouse and two art studios. The building was designed as a one-storey with mezzanine, designed for the needs of the hall. The building is combined with a modernist school building with a two-storey glazed link. Referring to the style that prevails in this part of the city, it consists of two simple white lumps. The project also included the purchase of room equipment, i.e. furniture and audio equipment for cultural and educational activities. After completion of the project, the Plastic Schools Team in Gdynia plans to introduce cyclical events concerning the Discussion Film Club and literary meetings. During these meetings, films will be presented in a large room, which often do not go to cinemas or television. The group will be able to analyse the film and discuss it. Due to the great interest in the theatre, a theatre club will be set up. Participants will be able to participate in the theatre as well as be the audiences of the performance with the possibility of criticism and broad discussion. In addition, there will be a music ensemble and a choir, as well as dance classes. The permanent event will be exhibitions of artistic works. Approximately 10 exhibitions are planned per year. The number of visitors is planned to increase by 3000 people per year. (English)
