Projekt obejmuje budowę 42 magistrali GPON w architekturze FTTH oraz 3 węzłów radiowych dedykowanych 5 placówkom oświatowym. Efektem projektu będzie zapewnienie dostępu do Internetu dla 11 254 gospodarstw domowych oraz 106 jednostek edukacyjnych zlokalizowanych na obszarze bytomskim i gliwickim. Zadaniem projektu jest wyeliminowanie terytorialnych różnic w możliwości dostępu do szerokopasmowego Internetu o wysokich przepustowościach poprzez zapewnienie dostępu do usług Społeczeństwa Informacyjnego mieszkańcom i placówkom publicznym oraz zapewnienie dostępu do infrastruktury i usług hurtowych. The project includes the construction of 42 GPON bus in FTTH architecture and 3 radio nodes dedicated to 5 educational establishments. The project will result in the provision of Internet access for 11 254 households and 106 educational units located in the Bytom and Gliwice areas. The aim of the project is to eliminate territorial differences in high-capacity broadband internet by providing access to Information Society services to residents and public establishments and ensuring access to infrastructure and wholesale services.
