Projekt zakłada poprawę ograniczonego potencjału operacyjnego terminalu w Kutnie poprzez zwiększenie jego zdolności przeładunkowej w wyniku rozbudowy i doposażenia w nowoczesne urządzenia przeładunkowe typu RTG i RMG oraz maszyny przeładunkowe. Inwestycja na terminalu jako elemencie systemu transportu intermodalnego, będzie służyła zwiększeniu udziału transportu kolejowego w odniesieniu do transportu drogowego, tym samym przyczyni się do zwiększenia udziału transportu intermodalnego w ogólnych przewozach ładunków. Projekt obejmuje zakup 4 maszyn przeładunkowych typu reachstacker, zakup 2 suwnic RTG do prac terminalowych, zakup 7 naczep terminalowych, zakup 3 ciągników terminalowych, zakup 2 maszyn do przestawiania pustych kontenerów tzw. empty handler oraz zakup suwnicy RMG. The project aims to improve the limited operational potential of the terminal in Kutno by increasing its transhipment capacity as a result of the expansion and retrofitting of modern RTG and RMG transhipment equipment and transhipment machines. The investment in the terminal as part of the intermodal transport system will serve to increase the share of rail transport in road transport, thereby increasing the share of intermodal transport in general freight. The project includes the purchase of 4 reachstacker transhipment machines, the purchase of 2 X-ray overhead cranes for terminal works, the purchase of 7 terminal trailers, the purchase of 3 terminal tractors, the purchase of 2 empty handler containers and the purchase of the RMG overhead crane.
