Projekt ma na celu budowę drogi ekspresowej S8 na odcinku od węzła „Marki” do węzła „Radzymin Płd.” o całkowitej długości 15,369 km. Na całym odcinku projektowanej drogi ekspresowej przewidziano przekrój drogowy dwujezdniowy z trzema pasami ruchu oraz pasem awaryjnym i pasem dzielącym. Przebieg projektowanej drogi ekspresowej S8 rozpoczyna się w mieście Marki tuż przy granicy z Warszawą, skąd biegnie wzdłuż granicy miasta Ząbki do miasta Zielonka. Następnie projektowana trasa biegnie w kierunku północnym przechodząc przez obszar miasta Kobyłka, miasta i gminy Radzymin oraz miasta i gminy Wołomin by zakończyć przebieg ponownie w Radzyminie. The project aims at the construction of the S8 expressway from the “Marki” junction to the “Radzymin South” junction with a total length of 15.369 km. There is a two-way cross-section with three lanes and an emergency lane and a dividing lane across the entire section of the designed expressway. The design of the S8 expressway begins in the town of Marki near the border with Warsaw, from where it runs along the border of Ząbki to Zielonka. The planned route then runs north through Kobyłka, the town and commune of Radzymin, and the town and commune of Wołomin to complete the course again in Radzymin. (English)
