(French)

The Departments of Drôme and Ardèche aim to finalise the development of the ViaRhôna route in their territories. The passage between the Roche-de-Glun, in Drôme, and Glun, in Ardèche, requires to take the dam on the Rhône granted to the Compagnie Nationale du Rhône (CNR), which supports the Departmental Road (RD) 220A with a very large motorised traffic, of about 7,000 veh/day. This crossing, the only missing link in the development of the Rhone crossings between the Drôme and the Ardèche, is now a black point in the overall route of the ViaRhôna VVV. The roadway on the dam is particularly narrow (4.5 meters), to the point that two cars only meet at idle speed, and it is not suitable for ensuring safe traffic for ViaRhôna users. The project, under the supervision of the Department of Drôme, includes the construction of a bridge hung in corbellation upstream of the dam and the development of 2 km of bicycle routes on the banks of the Rhone, on the Drôme side. The total cost of the operation is estimated at EUR 1103000 excluding tax. (English)
