W zakres projektu wchodzi realizacja dwóch głównych zadań:1. Modernizacji Punktu Selektywnej Zbiórki Odpadów Komunalnych w Limanowej;2. Podniesienia świadomości ekologicznej. W ramach modernizacji PSZOK w Limanowej zaplanowano: usprawnienie komunikacji w obrębie PSZOK poprzez modernizację drogi wewnętrznej, zakup wagi, zakup kontenera ocieplanego wraz z wyposażeniem.Obecnie działający Punkt Selektywnej Zbiórki Odpadów Komunalnych w Limanowej zorganizowany jest na wydzielonym placu o powierzchni ok. 70 m2 o nawierzchni utwardzonej asfaltowej. Punkt wyposażony jest pojemniki, kontenery oraz jedną wiatę stalową każdy z tych elementów wyposażenia jest przyporządkowany dla jednego kodu odpadów.Punkt wyposażony jest też w wagę, lecz tylko mniejszych ładunków do ok. 200 kg i niewielkich gabarytach. Brak wagi do ważenia większych ilości odpadów, zwłaszcza gruzów z remontów oraz odpadów wielkogabarytowych.Z tego względu, konieczny jest zakup wagi dla odpadów wielkogabarytowych. Ponadto, konieczne jest zmodernizowanie drogi wewnętrznej, by możliwy był transport odpadów tego typu w obrębie PSZOK. Kontener ocieplany ma być wykorzystywany przez pracownika obsługującego wagę. Modernizacja PSZOK pozwoli na zwiększenie odzysku odpadów ulegających biodegradacji, odpadów remontowych, budowlanych i wielkogabarytowych.Na działania związanie z koniecznością podniesienia świadomości ekologicznej składały się będą: konkurs plastyczny dla dzieci i młodzieży szkolnej; pogadanki w miejskich szkołach i przedszkolach; rozpowszechnianie broszur dotyczących funkcjonowania PSZOK i konieczności zwiększenia stopnia odzysku odpadów. Działania te będą promować postawy proekologiczne oraz poczucie odpowiedzialności za stan środowiska w zakresie zagospodarowania odpadów i konieczności zwiększenia stopnia ich segregacji. (Polish)

The modernisation of the PSZOK will help to increase the recovery of biodegradable waste, renovation, construction and large-scale waste. educational contest for children and young people; kidnapping in schools and kindergartens in urban areas; the distribution of brochures on the functioning of the PSZOK and the need to increase the rate of recovery of waste. These actions will promote green attitudes and the ownership of the environment in terms of waste management and the need to increase their level of segregation. (English)
