    IDM SÃŒDTIROL HAS ACQUIRED A LOT OF EXPERIENCE WITH ITS OWN FABLAB, A SMALL SCALE LABORATORY ACCESSIBLE TO ALL, WHERE IT IS POSSIBLE TO DEAL INDEPENDENTLY WITH VARIOUS TECHNOLOGIES, SUCH AS 3D PRINTING, LASER CUTTING AND UPTAKE MICROCONTROLLERS, WITH THE GOAL OF PROTOTYPING.\ NTHIS METHOD IS USED MAINLY BY DESIGNERS, START-UPS AND SMES, WHICH USUALLY HAVE DIFFICULT ACCESS TO RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT INFRASTRUCTURE.
