Przez Mławę przebiegają dwa szlaki komunikacyjne TEN-T: kolejowy E65 i drogowy DK7 lecz z uwagi na brak odpowiedniej infrastruktury technicznej nie są one ze sobą odpowiednio powiązane. Dzięki realizacji projektu wybudowana zostanie infrastruktura drogowa, która będzie powiązana z planowanym do budowy w ramach odrębnego przedsięwzięcia obiektem nowego dworca zintegrowanego kolejowo-autobusowego w miejsce istniejącego przystanku osobowego. Wybudowana w ramach projektu droga długości 1,16km, łącząca ul. Kościuszki z ul. Sienkiewicza wraz z kanalizacją deszczową, oświetleniem, chodnikami i ścieżką rowerową zapewni niezbędne połączenie węzła przesiadkowego w tym planowanego do budowy dworca zintegrowanego z siecią drogową miasta. Miasto Mława dysponuje opracowaną dokumentacją projektową i posiada pozwolenie na budowę. Celem głównym projektu jest poprawa spójności Miasta Mława z siecią TEN-T, dzięki skomunikowaniu węzła przesiadkowego z resztą miasta. Szczegółowe cele projektu to: 1) zmniejszenie natężenia ruchu pojazdów na ul. Kościuszki; 2) zmniejszenie natężenia ruchu na ulicach najbardziej obciążonych ruchem; 3) rozwój społeczno-gospodarczy poprzez zapewnienie lepszego dostępu do klientów oraz do miejsca prowadzenia działalności gospodarczej; 4) zapewnienie dogodnego dojazdu do węzła przesiadkowego; 5) poprawa bezpieczeństwa ruchu samochodowego, rowerowego i ruchu pieszych; 6) poprawa warunków użytkowania przez osoby niepełnosprawne; 7) poprawa dostępności zewnętrznej i wewnętrznej regionu; Grupą docelową są mieszkańcy Mławy oraz okolicznych terenów Północnego Mazowsza i południa województwa warmińsko-mazurskiego, dla których Mława stawowi centrum życia gospodarczego i kulturalnego. Grupą docelową są też turyści odwiedzające Mławę, zwiedzający lokalne atrakcje i zabytki czy też oglądający rekonstrukcję bitwy pod Mławą z 1939r. Z uwagi na przedmiot projektu, którym jest budowa drogi etapy realizacji projektu są typowe dla tego rodzaju zadań. (Polish)

Two TEN-T transport routes run by Mława: rail E65 and road DK7 but due to the lack of appropriate technical infrastructure, they are not linked to each other. As a result of the project, the road infrastructure will be built, which will be linked to the planned construction, as part of a separate project, of a new integrated rail/bus station in place of the existing passenger stop. Built as part of a 1.16 km project to connect ul. Kościuszki, ul. Sienkiewicz, including drains, lighting, pavements and the bicycle path, will provide the necessary connection between the connecting hub, including those planned for the construction of the integrated station with the city’s road network. The city of Mława has at its disposal the design documentation and is in possession of a building permit. The main purpose of the project is to improve the coherence of the city of Mława with the TEN-T network by connecting the connecting hub to the rest of the city. The project aims for the: (1) a reduction in the intensity of traffic on the vehicle. Kościuszki; (2) reducing traffic on the streets with the most traffic; (3) socio-economic development by ensuring better access to customers and to a place of business; 4) the provision of convenient access to the interchange hub; 5) improving road safety, cycling and pedestrian traffic; (6) improving the conditions for use by persons with disabilities; (7) improving the accessibility of the region’s external and internal accessibility; The target group is the inhabitants of Mława and the surrounding areas of North Mazury and south of Warmińsko-Mazurskie Province, for which Mława is the centre of economic and cultural life. The target group is also the tourists visiting the Mława, visitors with local attractions and monuments, or watching the reconstruction of the Battle against the Mława of 1939. In view of the subject matter of the project, which is the construction of a project, the stages of implementation of the project are typical of such tasks. (English)
