Przedsięwzięcie dotyczy rozbudowy DW512 Pieniężno–Bartoszyce o łącznej dł.47,94 km. Zakres prac obejmuje: prace przygot. (dok.proj.), studium wyk., roboty bud. (wzmocn. nawierzchni dr.-115kN/oś; doprowadzenie dr. do param. kl.G przez korektę łuków poz. i pion.; przebud. istn. skrzyżowań; przebud. obiektów inżynier., wzmocn. obiektów most. do kl.A; rozbiórka wiaduktu kolej. w Gór. Ił. i bud. mieszk.(km 24+620), bud. obwodnicy Górowa Ił. i m.Wojciechy, bud. i przebud. chodników, ścieżek rowerowych, zatok autob., miejsc postoj., zjazdów indywid. i publ.; bud. i przeb. przejść dla pieszych; bud. stanowisk do ważenia pojazdów cięż., wycinka drzew i krzewów; bud. i przebud. odwodn. dr.; bud. i przebud. oświetlenia dr.; przebud. kolizji z urz.obcymi; zagosp. zieleni; remont poboczy, renowacja rowów przydr.; wykonanie oznak.pion. i poz. oraz montaż barier ochronnych i balustrad, el. uspokojenia ruchu dr.), nadzór w projekcie (Inżynier Kontraktu, nadz. autorski), promocja proj., zakup nieruch., usł. specjalist. (bad. labor. w ramach IK). Projekt wpisuje się w SzOOP RPO WiM 2014-2020 dział.7.1. Infrastruktura drogowa o znaczeniu regionalnym–projekty pozakonkursowe Woj. Warm.-Maz. Realizuje cel temat.7,priorytet inwest.7b. Zwiększanie mobilności regionalnej poprzez łączenie węzłów drugorzędnych i trzeciorzędnych z infrastrukturą TEN-T, w tym z węzłami multimodalnymi oraz cel szczegół.. Rozbudowywana DW 512 łączy się z drogami o znaczeniu ponadregionalnym, z DK51 prowadzącą w kierunku półn. do przejścia gran. z Rosją Bezledy–Bagrationowsk, w połud. poprzez drogę europejską S7 (E77) do W-wy. Łącząc się z drogą DW 507 w Pieniężnie, poprzez przeniesienie ruchu na drogę europejską S22 (E28) (miejscowość Maciejewo), przenosi również ruch do kolejnego przejścia gran. z Rosją Grzechotki–Mamonowo. Tym samym inwestycja usprawnia połączenie z siecią podst. TEN-T. Połączenie z drogami wyższego jak i niższego rzędu zwiększy zewn. dostępność komunikacyjną regionu oraz jego wewn. spójność. (Polish)
