Projekt ma na celu ochronę i zabezpieczenie cennych przyrodniczo siedlisk i gatunków obszaru Natura 2000 Łysogóry PLH260002 poprzez kompleksowe ukierunkowanie ruchu turystycznego. Efektem projektu będzie rozbudowa istniejących i planowanych szlaków na terenie Gór Świętokrzyskich prowadzących do kanalizacji ruchu turystycznego. W tym celu planuje się budowę ścieżki dł. 3,67 km prowadzącej przez teren ŚPN, wzdłuż drogi woj. nr 752 od Krajna (Gm. Górno), przez Św. Katarzynę w kierunku Bodzentyna do msc. Podgórze. Wnioskowany szlak pieszo-rowerowy zlokalizowany będzie na terenie objętym najwyższą formą ochrony przyrody, tj. w Świętokrzyskim Parku Nar. i utworzonym na jego obszarze Natura 2000 Łysogóry. W Św. Katarzynie, która stanowi punkt docelowy licznych wycieczek chcących poznać przyrodę ŚPN, gołoborza, Łysicę, planuje się utworzenie utwardzonego miejsca postojowego (dostosowanego dla osób niepełnosprawnych) z toaletami, punktem inf., oświetleniem, elementami małej arch. (wiata z ławkami, stoły, kosze). Miejsce to znajduje się na Świętokrzyskim Obszarze Chronionego Krajobrazu: wyposażone będzie w mapę obszarów cennych przyrodniczo oraz tablice informacyjne dot. chronionych siedlisk i gatunków, ścieżek edukacyjnych. Przy pieszo-rowerowej ścieżce edukacyjnej prowadzącej przez teren ŚPN, naprzeciw obszaru ochrony ścisłej Mokry Bór powstanie punkt postojowy z wiatą, ławkami, tablicami informacyjnymi. Utworzenie ścieżki przez teren ŚPN obniży stopień antropopresji kanalizując ruch turyst. na obszarze objętym projektem o pow. 367,0 ha i zapewniając czynną ochronę in situ obszaru Natura 2000 Łysogóry. Do ograniczenia antropopresji przyczyni się również wymiana gruntów między Gminą Bodzentyn a ŚPN (Gmina zakupi prywatne łąki położone w enklawach leśnych ŚPN i przekaże je Parkowi w zamian za ok. 5 m pas gruntu należący do Parku, położony wzdłuż drogi woj. 752, gdzie zlokalizowana będzie ścieżka - koszt wymiany gruntów nie jest uwzględniony w wydatkach projektu). The aim of the project is to protect and safeguard the natural habitats and species of the Natura 2000 Natura site £260002, through the comprehensive targeting of tourist flows. The project will develop existing and planned routes on the site of Świętokrzyski, leading to a sewage system. To this end, the building path is planned to be built. 3.67 km from the ŚPN area, along the Provincial road No 752 from Krajna (Gm. Górno), by the Św. Katarzyna in the direction of Bozentin to msc. Podgórze. The proposed pedestrian/bicycle route will be located in the largest form of nature conservation, that is Świętokrzyski Nowe Park, which is situated within its Natura 2000 site. In the 20th century Katarzyna who is a destination point for a number of trips to learn the nature of the ŚPN, the Łysimica, is intended to create a parking parking area (adapted for persons with disabilities) with toilets, an assembly point, and lighting, small parts of the archal. The site is located in the Świętokrzyski Area of the Protected Landscape Area: it will be equipped with a map of areas of valuable natural interest and information boards for protected habitats and species, educational pathways. For pedestrians and cyclists through the educational path of the MPH site, the park will be built with wind, benches, information plates.
