    La Cité scolaire de Baimbridge située aux Abymes est composée de trois établissements : le Lycée Général et Technologique (LGT), le lycée Chevalier de Saint-Georges, et le GRETA. Le Conseil Régional a décidé d'engager la restructuration de cet ensemble, diagnostiqué comme fortement vulnbérable aux séismes. Le projet cofinancé par le FEDER porte sur la mise aux normes parasismiques du LGT. Via des opérations de reconstruction, réhabilitation et renforcement, il permettra la mise en sécurité des 1730 élèves des sections générales et technologiques de cet établissement, ainsi que des étudiants post-bac des sections BTS et CPGE.     The Baimbridge School in Abymes is composed of three establishments: Lycée Général et Technologque (LGT), Lycée Chevalier de Saint-Georges, and GRETA. The Regional Council has decided to start the restructuring of this complex, diagnosed as highly vulnerable to earthquakes. The project co-financed by the ERDF concerns the seismic upgrading of the LGT. Through reconstruction, rehabilitation and reinforcement operations, it will allow the safety of the 1730 pupils from the general and technological sections of this establishment, as well as postgraduate students from the BTS and CPGE sections.
