Smyslem projektu je pořízení velkoobjemové kontejnery na biologický odpad a velkoobjemový odpad, 10 sad kontejnerů (1 sada á 4 kontejnery) o objemu 1100 l, popelnice na biologický odpad o objemu 240 l v počtu 80 kusů, 5 sad popelnic na separovaný odpad o objemu 240 l a drtič biodpadu.Obec Josefov plánuje a již také částečně realizuje osvětovou kampaň v obci a svém okolí, která má za úkol zvýšit množství tříděného odpadu a jeho ukládání do nádob určených k separaci odpadu.
