Krkonoše a Jizerské hory byly vyhlášeny jako jedny z ptačích oblastí České republiky, jejichž předmětem ochrany je (krom dalších ptačích druhů) právě tetřívek obecný. Krkonošsko-jizerskohorská populace tetřívka obecného, i přes neustále klesající počet jedinců, stále disponuje dostatečným potencionálem k přežití tohoto druhu. Cílem projektu je pomocí série aktivit zajistit příp. vytvořit vhodné podmínky pro dlouhodobou existenci populace tohoto silně ohroženého druhu v České republice. (Czech)

Krkonoše and Jia was declared as some of the areas of avian influenza of the Czech Republic that are protected (apart from other bird species) of the general one. Despite a steadily decreasing number of individuals, Krkonoshsko-jizersko-jilsko-mountain population, still has a sufficient potential for survival of this species. The aim of the project is to ensure, through a series of activities, the creation of suitable conditions for the long-term existence of the population of this highly endangered species in the Czech Republic.
