Global and national tourism is growing. However, tourism in Region Sjælland is lagging behind both an international and a national benchmark. This initiative addresses three of the key challenges; Low degree of digitalisation and lack of growth among businesses, as well as a lack of cohesion among businesses and the overall product range. With this project, a 2-year cycle focused on priority segments (mainly German out-of-season holidaymakers; secondary guests from the capital in the form of international tourists to flee the capital, as well as Danish holiday and business tourists).
