The project promotes scientific excellence in the area of Andalusia-Algarve transboundary cooperation in the field of microalgae biotechnology, through the creation of a transnational network of universities, R & D & I centers, technology centers and companies dedicated to research, the production and exploration of microalgae biomass, enhancing its competitiveness internationally. The project aims to stimulate the mobility of researchers and technicians between R & D & I centers and companies on both sides of the border, thus promoting the transfer of the know-how generated to companies to the incipient sector of microalgae biotechnology.
