CRO-BiH-MNE are affected by common challenges related to non-rational use of energy, low level of energy efficiency (EE) and renewable energy sources (RES) use. Region faces problems related to low level of knowledge and awareness on energy management, high energy consumption and costs, and lack of regular trainings on EE and RES. Upon these premises, main project objective is to increase EE, RES use and intelligent energy management in CRO, BiH, MNE through promotion, raising awareness, improving knowledge, competences and enabling best practices transfer between project territories. Partnership approach is to combine diversified techniques to increase awareness, endorse responsible and intelligent energy management for improvement of EE and RES use. Joint interventions will enable promotion of innovative technologies and solutions in RES/EE, raising competences of target groups on energy management, contributing to decrease of CO2 and energy consumption in cross-border region. Project outputs achieved: 6 Demonstration actions of EE/RES measures; 6 Local buildings typologies with recommended EE measures; 12 Scenarios for EE improvement; 30 Energy audits in public buildings; 6 Energy management (EM) trainings, 6 EM software trainings; 6 Trainings on profitability of EE measures; 6 EM software; 6 coaching on practical measures; 3 Analyses of financing sources; promotional campaigns; 1 project video; 6 Promo events and 3 Cross-border conferences. Target groups are local public authorities; infrastructure and public service providers; education, training centres and schools; NGOs; public companies; energy services providers and general public. Project cross-border values are established cooperation, transfer of experiences on demonstration actions, increased knowledge and promotion of EE and RES use and additional installed capacity of renewable energy.
