The project aims to create a unique tourism product dubbed “The Escapades on the Prince’s Route” which is a complementary offer to the one already existing on the Tourist Route of the Lubomirski Family Seats. The Route links the most interesting places related to the aristocratic family on the territory of Podkarpackie and Małopolskie Voivodeships in Poland, Prešov Region in Slovakia, as well as in Ukraine. The cities of Jarosław and Svidník were put on the route as attractive places for tourists. The project “The Escapades on the Prince’s Route” supplements the existing tourist offer of the route, as well as the tourist offer of the partners (alternative offer). In view of the growing tourist market and increasing tourists’ expectations, the partners focused on creating, through the renewal of municipal parks in Jarosław and Svidník, places attractive to tourists, zones for both active and passive leisure, places where the natural wealth and cultural heritage of partner towns which were little-known earlier and the whole Polish-Slovak borderland are promoted. Non-investment activities will focus on promoting the tourism product created under the project and the natural heritage of the Polish-Slovak borderland. The Applicant aims to reach a large group of recipients. The investment tasks have been planned in a way so as to ensure that the revitalised municipal parks become a place of active leisure for whole families, individuals of different ages, including the disabled. The partners’ objective is also to preserve the existing heritage, that it, to protect it and educate in the field of biodiversity. The revitalised parks will be a place to play, a place of escapades for children and whole families (e.g. games with the use of natural resources – natural sticks to play pick-up sticks). Not only will the experimental natural playground in Jarosław ensure great fun but it will also teach contact with nature and respecting it. (English)
