This project is entirely relevant to the Programme area between the two municipalities – Lyaskovets and Videle - both face the same problems related to the unemployment and the lack of adequate skills and experience among the target group in the rural areas. The proposal is addressing the following problems such as the low level of information on employment opportunities in ecotourism and organic agriculture throughout the cross-border area, the lack of joint trainings and support as well as the exchanges of good EU practices for a better integration in the labour market. The project objective strives to increase the employment opportunities and the mobility of the labour force through development of special competences and skills in the area of innovative ecotourism and organic agriculture and food production in the selected cross-border area. The proposal consists of 10 activities – some of them are supporting to project implementation and the other ones are focused on obtaining necessary assets and services to deliver quality professional trainings, language courses, and joint cross-border markets. The development of web-based platform for green job opportunities in the cross-border region will be used by any interested person who is seeking or offering workforce, with or without a certain qualification, as well as by people interested to find service providers in the area. Besides using it very easy from any major web-browser installed on a device connected to internet, the platform will be installed on 4 info-kiosks placed in public places from Lyaskovets and Videle area. A special attention is paid to the awareness campaign in order to inform more citizens regarding the green employment opportunities in the rural area in the cross-border region. The establishment of cross-border business incubators will activate the labour force and will offer services to employers thus strengthening the economic cooperation in the cross-border region. The project outputs that are going to be achieved could be easily measured – 250 participants in 6 professional trainings in terms of green employment and labour mobility, 500 participants in special language courses, 160 participants in joint cross-border markets (job fairs), 100 participants in 5 editions of “Green Innovation Lab”. Also, the project will lead to increase the knowledge and skills of unemployed persons in the process of job seeking, will ensure face-to-face contact between potential “green” employers and “green” job seekers in the area of ecotourism and organic agriculture.
