Overall objective of the project is to increase the quality of life through the coordinated support to aging society in Lithuanian – Polish cross-border area. Specific objectives: - Improvement of cross-border social and cultural offer for aging society - Activation and integration of borderland’s seniors for better social inclusion - Enhancement and promotion of active aging policy in cross-border area - Strengthening the cooperation of the borderland culture and social support institutions Activities: 1. Project management 2. "Joint Polish - Lithuanian Workshops of Acting and Theater Production for Seniors" 3. Acting Beyond the Borders 4. Information and publicity 5. Project closure The project brings on a value added solution to the social and economic challenges with the valuable continuation and enhancement of the Partners' common activity in the framework of active aging and well-being of cross-border area inhabitants Therefore combines necessary development of cross-border cultural offer with cultural events and opportunities for meetings between Lithuanian and Polish seniors. The main target groups of the Project are older people at risk of poverty and social exclusion. (English)
