The project EWA will create a network of new resource centers (RC) for economically active women in Latvian regions of Latgale and Zemgale and Pskov Region of Russia. Basic equipment will be provided to the RC. With the help of professional coaches pilot trainings will be offered to economically active women, including women of vulnerable groups on the labour market. To ensure sustainability, special mentors will be trained locally for continuing work with women, seeking services of the RC. The project activities will contribute to increase of a number of new small enterprises. The RC will also invite existing SMEs to cooperation, both as employers and as a source of valuable experience and skills. RC of Latvia and Russia will establish long-term contacts between themselves for the exchange of knowledge and experience, for the development of foreign economic relations. (English)
