Das „SIA-Modell“ ist ein erfolgreiches Konzept, das die NGO Furuboda mit Mitteln aus dem General Inheritance Fund und in Zusammenarbeit mit der Universität Malmö entwickelt hat. Die Methode hat sich als erfolgreich erwiesen, indem behinderte Jugendliche dort Veränderungen im Hinblick auf eine langfristige Beschäftigung fördern. Die Methode konzentriert sich auf Empowerment, allmähliche Steigerung der Aktivität und individuelle Prozesse, die das Individuum auch während der Beschäftigung unterstützen. Das SIA-Modell erhält seine theoretische Basis von unterstützter Beschäftigung. (German)

Il "modello SIA" è un concetto di successo che l'ONG Furuboda ha sviluppato con finanziamenti da General Inheritance Fund e in collaborazione con l'Università Malmö. Il metodo si è dimostrato efficace grazie ai cambiamenti apportati ai giovani disabili per ottenere un'occupazione a lungo termine. Il metodo si concentra sulla responsabilizzazione, l'aumento graduale dell'attività e i processi individuali che supportano l'individuo anche durante l'occupazione. Il modello SIA ottiene la sua base teorica da Supported Employment. (Italian)

The “SIA model” is a successful concept that the NGO Furuboda has developed with funding from Allmänna Arvsfonden and in collaboration with Malmö University. The method has proved successful by enhancing disabled youth there changes to get an long-term employment. The method focuses on empowerment, gradual activity increase and individual processes which supports the individual even during employment. The SIA-model gets its theoretical base from Supported Employment. (English)
