    DESIGN AND MONITORING OF ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND BETTER ABATEMENT OF POLLUTANTS IN FOUNDRY AND COMPOSTING PROCESSES. A TEST CAMPAIGN WILL BE CARRIED OUT WITH PILOT PLANT AND ON SCALE 1 TO 1 VARYING CONTACT TIMES, TYPES OF FILLING BODIES AND LIQUID WASHING AIR RATIO IN ORDER TO DEFINE THE APPROPRIATE CHARACTERISTICS FOR AIR POLLUTANT ABATEMENT SYSTEMS BY SPECIFIC INDUSTRIAL PROCESSES. SCRUBBERS WILL BE MONITORED FOR EMISSIONS, LOAD LOSSES, ELECTRICAL CONSUMPTION, WATER CONSUMPTION AND CHEMICAL REAGENTS. FOLLOWING THE MONITORING, A PROJECT TERMINATION REPORT WILL BE DRAWN UP. THE DESIGN WILL ALSO BE MODIFIED TO REDUCE PRODUCTION WASTE AND MINIMISE INTERNATIONAL TRANSPORT COSTS. (English)
