Jūros upės (kodas 16010001) atkarpa, tekanti pro Rietavą priskiriama prie labai pakeistų upių. Upės atkarpa buvo ištiesinta XX a. 6 dešimtmetyje (vykdant sausinamosios melioracijos projektus), tokiu būdu pažeidžiant ekologinę pusiausvyrą ir sudarkant miesto kraštovaizdį. Siekant atstatyti pažeistą ekologinę būklę ir kraštovaizdį, tikslinga atlikti darbus, sudarančius sąlygas Jūros upės atkarpos Rietavo mieste renatūralizacijai. Darbai atliekami derinantis prie esamo kraštovaizdžio, nepažeidžiant trečiųjų asmenų interesų. Projekto rezultatai - atstatytos Jūros upės atkarpos Rietavo mieste hidrologinės ir morfologinės sąlygos (sudarant sąlygas upės atkarpos renatūralizacijai), sutvarkyta Jūros upės atkarpos aplinkinė teritorija (pėsčiųjų takai, mažoji architektūra, apželdinimas ir pan.). Projektas vykdomas gamtinio karkaso teritorijoje. Vykdant projektą atkurtas 1 kraštovaizdžio arealas. Teritorija, kurioje bus įgyvendintos kraštovaizdžio formavimo priemonės sieks 2 ha. (Lithuanian)

The section of the sea river (code 16010001) passing through Rietava is classified as heavily modified rivers. The river section was straightened in the 1950s (dry land reclamation projects), thus damaging the ecological balance and creating the urban landscape. In order to restore the damaged ecological condition and landscape, it is appropriate to carry out works that allow the renaturalisation of the Sea River section in Rietava. The works shall be carried out in harmony with the existing landscape, without prejudice to the interests of third parties. The results of the project are hydrological and morphological conditions (by creating conditions for the renaturalisation of the river section), the surrounding area of the section of the Sea river (a pedestrian paths, small architecture, afforestation, etc.) were rebuilt in Rietavas. The project is carried out in the territory of the natural framework. The project restored 1 landscape area. The area in which the landscape design measures will be implemented will amount to 2 ha. La section de la rivière de la mer (code 16010001) passant par Rietava est classée comme rivières fortement modifiées. La section de la rivière a été redressée dans les années 1950 (projets de remise en état des terres sèches), nuisant ainsi à l’équilibre écologique et créant le paysage urbain. Afin de restaurer l’état écologique endommagé et le paysage, il convient de réaliser des travaux qui permettent la renaturalisation de la section de la rivière de la mer à Rietava. Les travaux sont réalisés en harmonie avec le paysage existant, sans préjudice des intérêts des tiers. Les résultats du projet sont les conditions hydrologiques et morphologiques (en créant les conditions pour la renaturalisation du tronçon fluvial), la zone environnante du tronçon de la mer (voies piétonnes, petite architecture, boisement, etc.) a été reconstruite à Rietavas. Le projet est réalisé sur le territoire du cadre naturel. Le projet a restauré 1 zone paysagère. La superficie dans laquelle les mesures d’aménagement du paysage seront mises en œuvre s’élèvera à 2 ha. (French)
