Siekdama sklandžiai pereiti nuo institucinės vaikų globos prie globos šeimoje ir bendruomenėje teikiamų paslaugų socialinės rizikos grupei priklausantiems vaikams, Šalčininkų rajono savivaldybė inicijavo projektą „Bendruomeninių vaikų globos namų ir vaikų dienos centrų tinklo plėtra Šalčininkų rajono savivaldybėje“, kurio metu planuoja įgyvendinti dvi veiklas Šalčininkų mieste: įsteigti bendruomeninius vaikų globos namus (BVGD) įsigyjant ir suremontuojant gyvenamosios paskirties namą, kuriame būtų sudarytos sąlygos gyventi 8 be tėvų globos likusiems vaikams, patalpas aprūpinti reikalingais baldais bei įranga ir įkurti vieną vaikų dienos centrą (VDC), suremontuojant patalpas ir įsigyjant reikalingus baldus ir įrangą. BVGN ir VDC patapos būtų pritaikomos asmenims su judėjimo negalia. Įgyvendinus projektą, vaikai bus apgyvendinti atskiruose namuose, įkurtose šeimynose, kuriose jausis ne tik kaip namuose, bet jiems bus sudarytos geresnės sąlygos pasiekti ugdymo įstaigas bei aktyviai dalyvauti bendruomenės gyvenime. Įsteigus VDC, lankytojams bus suteikiamos socialinės, sociokultūrinės dienos užimtumo paslaugos pagal jų pomėgius ir galimybes. (Lithuanian)

In order to smoothly move from institutional care of children to care provided in the family and community for children belonging to the social risk group, Šalčininkai District Municipality initiated a project “Development of a network of community-based child care homes and children’s day-care centres in Šalčininkai district municipality”, during which it plans to implement two activities in Šalčininkai city: establish a community-based child care home (BVGD) by acquiring and repairing a residential house, which would allow 8 children left without parental care to live, provide the necessary furniture and equipment and set up one children’s day-care centre (VDC) by repairing the premises and purchasing the necessary furniture and equipment. SVEGN and VDC patches would be adapted to persons with reduced mobility. After the implementation of the project, children will be accommodated in separate houses, established in families, where they will feel not only at home, but they will be better placed to reach educational institutions and actively participate in community life. With the establishment of the VDC, visitors will be provided with social, socio-cultural day employment services according to their preferences and opportunities. (English)
