Siekiant sudaryti palankias sąlygas pradėti ir plėtoti verslą Alytaus miesto savivaldybėje, skatinti gyventojų verslumą ir užimtumą labai svarbu paskatinti miesto bendruomenines, nevyriausybines organizacijas ir verslo atstovus bendradarbiauti. Konstruktyviam dialogui tarp verslo struktūrų, bendruomeninių organizacijų, nevyriausybinio sektoriaus ir valdžios atstovų buvo įsteigta asociacija Alytaus miesto vietos veiklos grupė. Asociacijos tikslams pasiekti bus įgyvendinamas projektas pagal 2014–2020 metų Europos Sąjungos fondų investicijų veiksmų programos 8 prioriteto „Socialinės įtrauktiems didinimas ir kova su skurdu“ 08.6.1-ESFA-T-909 priemonę „Vietos plėtros strategijų rengimas“. Projektu bus siekiama skatinti ir palaikyti bendruomenių inicijuojamą vietos plėtrą Alytaus mieste. Projektas prisideda prie tikslo "Pagerinti vietines įsidarbinimo galimybes ir didinti bendruomenių socialinę integraciją, išnaudojant vietos bendruomenių, verslo ir vietos valdžios ryšius"įgyvendinimo. Įgyvendinus projektą bus parengta Alytaus miesto vietos plėtros strategija, kurioje bus įvardintos priemonės, padėsiančios spręsti vietos bendruomenės socialines problemas. (Lithuanian)

In order to facilitate the start-up and development of business in the municipality of Alytus, it is essential to encourage cooperation between community, non-governmental organisations and business representatives in order to promote entrepreneurship and employment among residents. For constructive dialogue between business structures, community organisations, non-governmental sector and government representatives, the Association Alytus City Local Action Group was established. In order to achieve the objectives of the association, a project will be implemented under measure 08.6.1-ESFA-T-909 “Developing local development strategies” of priority 8 “Increasing social inclusion and combating poverty” of the 2014-2020 Operational Programme for investments from the European Union funds. The project will aim to promote and support community-led local development in Alytus. The project contributes to the implementation of the objective “Enhancing local employability and social integration of communities by exploiting links between local communities, business and local government”. The project will lead to the development of a local development strategy for the city of Alytus, which will identify measures to address the social problems of the local community. (English)
