Pagrindinė problema, su kuria susiduria Biržų rajono neformaliojo ugdymo įstaigos – pasenusi infrastruktūra ir nepakankamos sąlygos kokybiškam vaikų neformaliojo ugdymo programų vykdymui: Biržų rajono kūno kultūros ir sporto centro sporto salės patalpos neatitinka techninių ir funkcinių savybių, Biržų Vlado Jakubėno muzikos mokyklai trūksta įrangos, o ir esama jau susidėvėjusi. Projekto tikslas – pagerinti neformaliojo švietimo veiklų kokybę bei didinti jų prieinamumą Biržų Vlado Jakubėno muzikos mokykloje ir Biržų rajono kūno kultūros ir sporto centre. Siekiant projekto tikslo, Biržų Vlado Jakubėno muzikos mokyklai bus nupirkta įranga (muzikos instrumentai, kompiuterinė įranga, keramikos degimo krosnis) bei atlikti Biržų rajono kūno kultūros ir sporto centro patalpų, esančių Karaimų g. 5, Biržų mieste, kapitalinio remonto darbai, būtini kokybiškai vaikų neformaliojo švietimo (muzikos, dailės, sporto) veiklai vykdyti. Įgyvendinus projektą pagerės vykdomų vaikų neformaliojo švietimo, t. y. muzikos, dailės, sporto šakų ugdymo programų kokybė. (Lithuanian)

The main problem faced by non-formal education institutions in Biržai district is outdated infrastructure and insufficient conditions for the quality of children’s non-formal education programmes: Biržai Vladas Jakubėnas Music School lacks equipment and is already worn out. The aim of the project is to improve the quality of non-formal education activities and increase their accessibility at Biržai Vladas Jakubėnas Music School and the Biržai District Physical Education and Sports Centre. In order to achieve the goal of the project, equipment (music instruments, computer equipment, ceramic kiln) will be purchased for Biržai Vladas Jakubėnas Music School, as well as overhaul of the premises of Biržai District Physical Culture and Sports Centre, located in Karaimu str. 5, Biržai city, necessary for the qualitative performance of children’s non-formal education (music, art, sports). The project will improve the quality of educational programmes for children’s non-formal education, i.e. music, arts and sports. (English)
