Siekdama gerinti socialinių paslaugų kokybę, plėtoti socialinių paslaugų infrastruktūrą bendruomenėje senyvo amžiaus asmenims, Varėnos rajono savivaldybė modernizuos Varėnos globos namus, kuriuose socialinės globos paslaugas gauna 25 asmenys, ir padidins paslaugų gavėjų skaičių iki 40 asmenų per metus. Planuojama veikiančius Varėnos globos namus perkelti į pastatą, esantį adresu Z. Voronecko g. 2, Varėnoje. Projekto įgyvendinimo metu senyvo amžiaus asmenims bus pritaikyti sanitariniai mazgai, o perplanavus patalpas bus įrengti du keturviečiai, trys triviečiai, vienuolika dviviečių ir vienas vienvietis kambarys, mini virtuvėlė gyventojams, užimtumo kambariai, holas bei kitos patalpos. Projekto lėšomis planuojama įsigyti ir trūkstamus baldus bei įrangą. Tikimasi, kad modernizavus Varėnos globos namus bus teikiamos aukštos kokybės socialinės globos paslaugos. (Lithuanian)

In order to improve the quality of social services, develop social services infrastructure for the elderly in the community, Varėna District Municipality will modernise Varėna care homes, where 25 people receive social care services, and will increase the number of service recipients to 40 persons per year. It is planned to transfer the existing care homes in Varėna to a building located at Z. Voronecko str. 2, Varėna. During the implementation of the project, sanitary units will be adapted for elderly people, and after redesigning the premises, two quadruple, three triple rooms, eleven double and one single room, a mini kitchen for residents, occupancy rooms, a lounge and other premises will be installed. The project also plans to purchase missing furniture and equipment. The modernisation of Varėna care homes is expected to provide high-quality social care services. (English)
