Join 2.0 wants to work to include all residents of working age in the municipality of Gislaved in the labor market and in society. Based on statistics from the Swedish Employment Service, the exclusion of job seekers who are far from the labor market has subsequently increased and this group has great difficulties in establishing itself in society. The gap between the long term unemployed who have reduced work capacity or other obstacles and the open unemployed does not narrow, but widen despite the strong economic situation. Most of these individuals have a compound problem that affects their ability to get a job or get into studies. According to the Swedish Employment Services analysis, this group is even more difficult to establish in the labor market, although the economy remains very strong due to low educational attainment. All individuals of working age can add something to the labor market and we must see the power of those individuals who have a longer path to employment and see the benefits in society when the people who are far from the labor market are included in society. Foreign born women with complex problems can be an extra vulnerable group because they do not have much work experience from their home country and low educational level. To clarify and document these womens skills and work experience, it is important to do so in collaboration with the other actors who also meet this group such as the Financial Assistance, Adult Education, and others. At the same time, you need to clarify other people who are part of the group long term unemployed and try to understand and clarify why the individuals in the group fall outside the labor market and have great difficulties to be included in Swedish society, whether you are native or foreign born. In addition to the survey and competence assessment of the individuals, we also need to clarify the professional roles and counter gender roles in the labor market. Here we can work out methods and tools together with the private business community as well as municipal workplaces to exploit the skills that are available to the available workforce and among those already employed. In the project we can help companies to streamline work tasks so that they do not fall into gender stereotyped conceptions, where the view that certain work tasks are specific to men and women exist. It is of utmost importance that the efforts and methods to be implemented in the operations during and after the project should counteract gender segregation and discrimination in the labor market. Based on the ESFs regional action plan, JOIN 2.0 will focus on developing sustainable efforts and methods for individuals to carry out genderspecific education and vocational choices to meet the future competence need even after the project. Employers can have attitudes that influence their selection for employment and here we will create methods and efforts to promote equal opportunities in the workplace for the long term unemployed with different obstacles. Here, skills development and method development will be required during the course of the project to ensure that the horizontal principles are followed by all collaboration partners as well as all participants. Jönköping Municipalitys project "Check for ability, support in change" and Municipal development Region Jönköping Countys "Count on me" together with Join 2.0. apply for funds within the same call. If project funding from the European Social Fund grants all three projects, it is intended that the projects will exchange experiences and knowledge during the project period. In order to achieve set goals to increase inclusion in the labor market for the target group, we need to work individually based on detailed mapping, skills assessment and well conducted validation to demonstrate their knowledge. All partners and actors must cooperate and fulfill their commitments. To achieve the goals, everyone must have the same goal picture and the same view of what the project is about. Must also have confidence in each others roles and activities. We need to review professional roles and tasks to clarify what is required for different tasks in order to create sustainable employment where we focus on gender equality and accessibility. (Swedish)
