The municipality of Södertälje offers nursing assistants in elder care skills interventions based on quality assurance of competence. Eldercare operations face several major challenges for the future. Staff do not have sufficient expertise and employed too often in temporary precarious. Care of the elderly need staff, need a secured supply of competence and in order to meet this need for both a clear and attractive competency-based recruitment process, and a taxonomy of learning at work. From the employers perspective, the system generates a clear picture of what they can and what they need develop. Through strategies can the employer design efforts that both stimulates learning and development in the workplace. Kravmärkt Yrkesroll is a working model for Skills Analysis and Workplace Learning for employees within elderly care and care for disabled persons. The base is clear professional requirements and criteria, elaborated of the two different professional groups themselves. (Swedish)
