Przedmiotem projektu jest zakup i instalacja ogniw fotowoltaicznych oraz pieców na biomasę. Łączna ilość zamontowanych instalacji na obiektach prywatnych oraz budynkach użyteczności publicznej w Gminie Wilkołaz wyniesie 75 szt. (łączna moc zainstalowana 0,44 MW). Spadek emisji CO 2 - 151,72 Mg/rok.Jakość powietrza w gminie jest dobra; nie ma obowiązku opracowania programu ochrony powietrza. W POP dla strefy lubelskiej nie wskazano działań naprawczych ani krótkoterminowych dla gminy Wilkołaz, co oznacza że na jej terenie nie odnotowano przekroczenia poziomów substancji podlegających ocenie jakości powietrza.
