Le projet dénommé « Abbaye de Forest » vise à développer un pôle culturel multifonctionnel sur le site de l’Abbaye de Forest, patrimoine classé depuis 1994, situé dans le cœur historique de la commune. La réhabilitation de l’ancienne abbaye permettra ainsi l’implantation de plusieurs fonctions culturelles, sociales et économiques ouvertes sur la Ville et accessibles à tous les habitants de la Région de Bruxelles-Capitale. The project called “Abbaye de Forest” aims to develop a multifunctional cultural centre on the site of the Abbey of Forest, a heritage classified since 1994, located in the historic heart of the municipality. The rehabilitation of the former abbey will thus enable the establishment of several cultural, social and economic functions open to the city and accessible to all the inhabitants of the Brussels Capital Region. Het project genaamd „Abbaye de Forest” heeft tot doel een multifunctioneel cultureel centrum te ontwikkelen op de site van de abdij van het bos, een erfgoed dat sinds 1994 is geclassificeerd in het historische hart van de gemeente. De rehabilitatie van de voormalige abdij zal de oprichting mogelijk maken van verschillende culturele, sociale en economische functies die openstaan voor de stad en toegankelijk zijn voor alle inwoners van het Brussels Hoofdstedelijk Gewest. Die Sanierung der ehemaligen Abtei wird somit die Schaffung mehrerer kultureller, sozialer und wirtschaftlicher Funktionen ermöglichen, die der Stadt offenstehen und allen Bewohnern der Region Brüssel-Hauptstadt zugänglich sind.
