Die Gemeinde Rio Maior beabsichtigt, einige der bestehenden Gebäude zu sanieren, indem neue Funktionen eingeführt werden, die die soziokulturelle Dynamik des historischen Zentrums stimulieren. Diese Intervention zielt darauf ab, die historische Vergangenheit auf die heutigen Erfahrungen zu aggregieren und umzusetzen, unter Bedingungen, um die „Geschichte der Geschichte von Rio Maior“ neu zu gestalten und diesen Pol auch Teil des Kreises polynukleierter Besuche zu machen.
