Το Κέντρο Κοινότητας του Δήμου Καβάλας θα λειτουργήσει με σκοπό να εξυπηρετεί το σύνολο των πολιτών, με προτεραιότητα στις ευπαθείς ομάδες, παρέχοντας ολιστική υποστήριξη μέσα από ένα πλέγμα υπηρεσιών που έχουν ως στόχο την καταπολέμηση της φτώχειας, την αντιμετώπιση του κοινωνικού αποκλεισμού και την επανένταξη στην αγορά εργασίας. Η δομή θα λειτουργεί συμπληρωματικά με τις λοιπές κοινωνικές δομές του Δήμου και θα λειτουργεί και ως χώρος για ομαδικές συγκεντρώσεις ενημερώσεις και πληροφόρησης των πολιτών σε θέματα που άπτονται των αναγκών τους. Στο Κέντρο Κοινότητας θα γίνεται η υποδοχή και η καταγραφή των ωφελουμένων, με στόχο τη διάγνωση των αναγκών τους, οι οποίοι στη συνέχεια θα παραπέμπονται σε άλλους επιμέρους φορείς, όπως κατά περίπτωση αρμόζει. Παράλληλα, στο Κέντρο Κοινότητας θα υποβάλλονται οι αιτήσεις για το Ταμείο Ευρωπαϊκής Βοήθειας για τους Απόρους (ΤΕΒΑ), το Κοινωνικό Εισόδημα Αλληλεγγύης (ΚΕΑ), την Αντιμετώπιση της Ανθρωπιστικής Κρίσης και για οποιοδήποτε άλλο πρόγραμμα, είτε υλοποιείται από το Δήμο Καβάλας είτε από άλλο φορέα. Il Centro comunitario del comune di Kavala opererà al servizio di tutti i cittadini, dando priorità ai gruppi vulnerabili, fornendo un sostegno olistico attraverso una rete di servizi volti a combattere la povertà, combattere l'esclusione sociale e reintegrarsi nel mercato del lavoro. La struttura integrerà le altre strutture sociali del Comune e fungerà anche da luogo di raccolta di gruppi di informazioni e informazioni ai cittadini su questioni connesse alle loro esigenze. El Centro Comunitario de la Municipalidad de Kavala funcionará para atender a todos los ciudadanos, dando prioridad a los grupos vulnerables, prestando apoyo integral a través de una red de servicios destinados a combatir la pobreza, luchar contra la exclusión social y reintegrarse en el mercado laboral.
