Le Mans Métropole souhaite promouvoir les déplacements doux afin de réduire les émissions de gaz à effet de serre et développer des solutions alternatives à l’usage de la voiture individuelle. La VC 246 est une voie rectiligne peu large, sans trottoir ni aménagement cyclable, particulièrement empruntée par les lycéens de la Germinière qui se rendent aux arrêts de bus ou au terminus du tramway. Cette opération de création de piste cyclable, portée par la communauté urbaine Le Mans Métropole fait partie des opérations sélectionnées dans le cadre de son plan d’actions d’investissements territoriaux intégrés (ITI). Le Mans Métropole wants to promote soft travel in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and develop alternative solutions for the use of the individual car. The VC 246 is a narrow straight lane, without sidewalks or cycling facilities, particularly used by the high school students of the Germinière who go to the bus stops or to the tram terminus. This operation to create a cycle path, carried out by the urban community Le Mans Métropole, is one of the operations selected under its Integrated Territorial Investment Action Plan (ITI). (English)

Die VC 246 ist eine flache, flache Straße ohne Gehweg oder Radwege, die besonders von den Gymnasiasten der Germinière genutzt wird, die an den Bushaltestellen oder der Endstation der Straßenbahn fahren. Dieser von der Stadtgemeinde Le Mans Métropole durchgeführte Bau eines Radweges gehört zu den Vorhaben, die im Rahmen ihres Aktionsplans für integrierte territoriale Investitionen (ITI) ausgewählt wurden. Le Mans Métropole wil soft travel promoten om de uitstoot van broeikasgassen te verminderen en alternatieve oplossingen te ontwikkelen voor het gebruik van de individuele auto. De VC 246 is een smalle rechte baan, zonder trottoirs of fietsfaciliteiten, vooral gebruikt door de middelbare scholieren van de Germinière die naar de bushaltes of naar het eindpunt van de tram gaan.
