LJA atbilstoši īstenotajām augstākās izglītības studiju programmām, kas apstiprinātas studiju virziena “Mehānika un metālapstrāde, siltumenerģētika, siltumtehnika un mašīnzinības” ietvaros ir cieši saistīta ar viedās specializācijas jomu “Viedie materiāli, tehnoloģijas un inženiersistēma”.Kopš 2005. gada sākuma LJA ir ieguvusi klasifikācijas sabiedrības “DNV GL” sertifikātu par vadības sistēmas atbilstību kvalitātes vadības sistēmu standarta ISO 9001:2008 prasībām, sertifikācijas jomā “Augstākā profesionālā jūrniecības izglītība un jūrnieku apmācība”. Le projet est intitulé «Modernisation des programmes d’études STEM de l’Académie maritime lettone».L’objectif du projet est de renouveler la base technique matérielle afin d’améliorer et d’assurer les programmes de formation STEM en veillant aux exigences de la convention STCW-78 pour la fourniture du processus de formation. La mise en œuvre réussie du projet garantira non seulement les objectifs globaux énoncés dans la SAM 8.1.1, mais aussi les objectifs fixés dans la stratégie 2018-2023 de LJA: la mission est de fournir un enseignement maritime professionnel supérieur et une formation universitaire, de développer la science appliquée et de maintenir le potentiel intellectuel nécessaire de l’industrie maritime lettone et de promouvoir son développement. L’objectif du projet contribue directement à l’objectif fixé par la SAM et correspond à la priorité 5 du 3ème axe de transformation économique des RIS 3 «Système éducatif qui répond aux exigences du marché du travail moderne et futur, qui contribue à la transformation de l’économie et au développement des compétences, de l’esprit d’entreprise et de la créativité nécessaires à la mise en œuvre des priorités du CSC à tous les niveaux de l’éducation». Ziel des Projekts ist es, die materielle technische Basis zu erneuern, um die MINT-Ausbildungsprogramme zu verbessern und zu gewährleisten, indem die Anforderungen des STCW-78-Übereinkommens für die Bereitstellung des Ausbildungsprozesses sichergestellt werden. Het project heeft de titel „Modernisering van STEM-studieprogramma’s van de Letse Maritieme Academie”. Il progetto si intitola "Modernizzazione dei programmi di studio STEM dell'Accademia marittima lettone". El proyecto se titula «Modernización de los programas de estudio STEM de la Academia Marítima de Letonia». El objetivo del proyecto es renovar la base técnica material a fin de mejorar y garantizar los programas de formación STEM garantizando los requisitos del Convenio STCW-78 para la prestación del proceso de formación.
