Arheogenetika je mlada i prestižna znanstvena disciplina koja se pojavom sekvenciranja nove generacije (NGS) ubrzano razvija i čija su istraživanja često objavljena u najpoznatijim znanstvenim časopisima. Hrvatska je poznata po mnogobrojnim arheološkim nalazištima i obilju arheološkog materijala biološkog porijekla (kosti životinja i ljudi), čije su analize, dobar primjer su kosti neandertalca iz Vindije, obogatile naše spoznaje o čovjekovoj prošlosti. S namjerom provođenja vrhunskih znanstvenih istraživanja i uspostave znanstvene suradnje između genetičara i znanstvenika koji proučavaju prošlost (arheolozi, geolozi, biolozi, itd.), cilj ovog projekta je uspostava laboratorija za arheogenetiku. Uu široj regiji takav laboratorij ne postoji. (Croatian)

Arheogenesis is a young and prestigious scientific discipline that is rapidly developing and often published in the best known peer-reviewed journals. Croatia is renowned for its many archaeological sites and rich archaeological material of biological origin (bones of animals and humans), the analyses of which are a good example of the bones of non-andertalica from the Vindica, enriching our knowledge of the man’s past. With a view to conducting excellent scientific research and establishing scientific cooperation between geneticians and scientists studying the past (archaeologists, geologists, biologists, etc.), the aim of this project is to establish a laboratory for archaeologists. In the wider region, such a laboratory does not exist. (English)

Archaeogenetics ist eine junge und renommierte wissenschaftliche Disziplin, die sich mit dem Aufkommen der NGS-Sequenzierung schnell entwickelt und deren Forschung oft in den bekanntesten wissenschaftlichen Zeitschriften veröffentlicht wurde. Kroatien ist bekannt für seine zahlreichen archäologischen Stätten und die Fülle von archäologischem Material biologischen Ursprungs (Knochen von Tieren und Menschen), dessen Analysen ein gutes Beispiel für Neandertaler Knochen aus Vindija sind, bereicherte unser Wissen über die Vergangenheit des Menschen. Ziel dieses Projekts ist es, ein Labor für Archäogenetik zu schaffen, um Spitzenforschung zu betreiben und die wissenschaftliche Zusammenarbeit zwischen Genetikern und Wissenschaftlern zu etablieren, die die Vergangenheit studieren (Archäologen, Geologen, Biologen usw.). In der weiteren Region gibt es kein solches Labor. (German)

Archaeogenetics is een jonge en prestigieuze wetenschappelijke discipline die zich snel ontwikkelt met de komst van NGS sequencing en wiens onderzoek vaak is gepubliceerd in de meest bekende wetenschappelijke tijdschriften. Kroatië staat bekend om zijn talrijke archeologische vindplaatsen en overvloed aan archeologisch materiaal van biologische oorsprong (beender van dieren en mensen), waarvan de analyses een goed voorbeeld zijn van Neanderthaler beenderen uit Vindija, verrijkt onze kennis van het verleden van de mens. Met de bedoeling topwetenschappelijk onderzoek uit te voeren en wetenschappelijke samenwerking tot stand te brengen tussen genetici en wetenschappers die het verleden bestuderen (archeologen, geologen, biologen, enz.), is het doel van dit project om een laboratorium voor archeogenetica op te richten. In de ruimere regio is er geen dergelijk laboratorium. (Dutch)

Archaeogenetics è una disciplina scientifica giovane e prestigiosa che si sviluppa rapidamente con l'avvento del sequenziamento NGS e la cui ricerca è stata spesso pubblicata nelle più famose riviste scientifiche. La Croazia è conosciuta per i suoi numerosi siti archeologici e l'abbondanza di materiale archeologico di origine biologica (ossa di animali e umani), le cui analisi sono un buon esempio di ossa di Neanderthal di Vindija, arricchito la nostra conoscenza del passato dell'uomo. Con l'intento di condurre ricerche scientifiche di alto livello e stabilire una cooperazione scientifica tra genetisti e scienziati che studiano il passato (archeologi, geologi, biologi, ecc.), l'obiettivo di questo progetto è quello di istituire un laboratorio per l'archeogenetica. Nella regione più ampia, non esiste un laboratorio di questo tipo. (Italian)
