Projektet ska bidra till att stärka Västsveriges återhämtnings- och omställningsförmåga inom hållbara biomarina näringar och minska Covid-19-pandemins negativa effekter på ekonomin. Genom att etablera en samverkansmiljö för kunskapsöverföring mellan företag, innovationsstödsaktörer, akademi och andra relevanta aktörer som arbetar strategiskt för utvecklingen av det biomarina företagandet bidrar projektet till koldioxidsnål och hållbar tillväxt samt stärkt affärsutveckling, och innovations- och konkurrenskraft inom de biomarina näringarna i Västsverige. Med en bred ansats av aktiviteter ska projektet samordna och utveckla befintlig kunskap och infrastruktur och engagera näringslivet i tätare samverkan. Plattformen ska också bidra stärka Västsverige som en nod för biomarint företagande och innovation med nationell och internationell räckvidd. (Swedish)

The project will help strengthen the recovery and transition capacity of Western Sweden in sustainable biomarine industries and reduce the negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the economy. By establishing a collaborative environment for knowledge transfer between companies, innovation support actors, academia and other relevant actors working strategically for the development of biomarine entrepreneurship, the project contributes to low-carbon and sustainable growth as well as strengthened business development, and innovation and competitiveness in the biomarine industries in West Sweden. With a broad approach of activities, the project will coordinate and develop existing knowledge and infrastructure and engage the business community in closer collaboration. The platform will also contribute to strengthening Western Sweden as a node for biomarine entrepreneurship and innovation with national and international reach. (English)
