    “PLANT IN TRANSLATION” (PIT) MEANS A PRODUCT IN THE DESIGN PHASE OF START-UP PASTIS, WHICH IS BASED ON THE PRODUCTION OF A PRODUCT THAT MONITORS AND SENDS ENCODED INFORMATION ON THE WATER STATE OF PLANTS IN POT MAINLY IN CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT. IT IS AN INNOVATIVE PRODUCT USING A PHOTONICS TECHNOLOGY THAT IS APPLIED TO THE LEAF LAYER OF THE POTTED PLANTS IN BOTH POTS AND ORNAMENTAL PLANTS. THE FROND LAYER IS MADE BETWEEN A SUITABLY CALIBRATED MICROPHOTOR MICROSORGTE AND AN MICRO-ELECTRONIC RECEIVER WHICH MEASURES THE INTENSITY OF PHOTONS ABSORBED. ANALOGUE THRESHOLD SIGNALS ARE CONVERTED INTO DIGITAL SIGNALS WHICH CAN BE SENT VIA WIRELESS TO A RECEIVER SYSTEM: A CONTROL UNIT OR A MOBILE SYSTEM (SMARTPHONE) AND INFORMATION ON THE WATER STATE OF THE POT PLANT.
