    O desenvolvimento dos sistemas de alerta precoce baseia-se na integração de sensores sísmicos e maregráficos de alta dinâmica com sistemas de processamento muito performantes, e capazes de fornecer rapidamente informação de emergência durante o desenvolvimento dos fenómenos adversos. Para tal, é necessário proceder à modernização de uma parte da rede de sensores sísmicos do continente para deteção precoce de sismos e tsunamis. (Portuguese)

    The development of early warning systems is based on the integration of high dynamic seismic and maregraphic sensors with very performant processing systems, and able to quickly provide emergency information during the development of adverse phenomena.
