    THE VISUAL PROJECT AIMS TO APPLY NEW RALLARK (AR) AND VIRTUAL (VR) TECHNOLOGIES TO INCREASE THE LOCAL BUSINESS PROCESS IN LINE WITH INDUSTRY 4.0. THE AIM OF THE PROJECT IS TO CREATE INFRASTRUCTURE AND KNOW-HOW TO ALLOW FRAUNHOFER ITALIA TO CONDUCT APPLIED RESEARCH IN THE AREAS OF AR AND VR APPLIED TO AUTOMATION. A RESEARCH PLATFORM INTEGRATING COLLABORATIVE ROBOTICS TECHNOLOGIES AND DEVICES TO VISUALISE/EXPAND WILL BE DEVELOPED. THESE INCLUDE A SYSTEM FOR TRACKING THE POSITION AND MOVEMENTS OF OBJECTS IN A SPACE AND TIME HIGH RESOLUTION ROOM, INCLUDING POSITIONING AND MOTION SOFTWARE, A 3D SCANNER FOR THE ACQUISITION OF SPATIAL DATA OF POTENTIAL CASES, AND A COLLABORATIVE ROBOT FOR VALIDATION. THIS INFRASTRUCTURE WILL BE VALIDATED BY MEANS OF A TEST CARRIED OUT WITHIN THE PROJECT. (English)
