    THE AIM OF THE PROJECT IS TO IDENTIFY INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS FOR THE ENERGY AND WORKING CONDITIONS OPTIMISATION OF MANUFACTURING PROCESSES FOR THE PRODUCTION OF TINS OF TINS. THE PROPOSED TECHNOLOGICAL SOLUTIONS WILL ENABLE THE PROPOSERS TO: (I) IMPLEMENT INNOVATIVE INTEGRATED SYSTEMS FOR MONITORING ENERGY CONSUMPTION AND EXPOSURE OF WORKERS UNDER COMPLEX ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS (TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY CONDITIONS AND EXPOSURE TO CHEMICAL AND PHYSICAL AGENTS), THROUGH THE INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT AND USE OF DEDICATED SENSORS AND ‘SMART TECHNOLOGY’ SYSTEMS, (II) OPTIMISATION OF THE PRODUCTION PROCESS THROUGH THE INTRODUCTION OF INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES IN THE PROCESS OF PAINTING AND POLYMERISATION OF JARS, (III) DESIGNING AN INNOVATIVE COGENERATION/TRIGENERATION PLANT THROUGH THE RECOVERY OF THE THERMAL ENERGY RESULTING FROM THE VARIOUS STAGES OF PRODUCTION, (IV) CARRYING OUT A THOROUGH ANALYSIS OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS.
