Celem prac badawczych planowanych do przeprowadzenia w projekcie jest opracowanie technologii nowego produktu jakim będzie System Identyfikacji Przeszkody. W odniesieniu do najlepszych w skali świata rozwiązań w tym zakresie przygotowywany produkt będzie w stanie zaoferować nowe innowacyjne funkcjonalności. Po zabudowaniu na przejeździe kolejowym system ten umożliwi z wyprzedzeniem na całkowite zatrzymanie pojazdu szynowego przed przeszkodą jaką może być np. uszkodzony autobus, ciężarówka, samochód osobowy czy jakakolwiek inna przeszkoda, która to bez w/w systemu zostanie na 100% zniszczona przez uderzający w nią pojazd szynowy. Zatrzymanie pojazdu ochroni również pasażerów pociągu oraz samego maszynistę. To główna przyczyna uruchomienia prac nad w/w systemem. (Polish)

The aim of the research work planned to be carried out in the project is to develop a new product technology, which will be the Obstacle Identification System. With regard to the world’s best solutions in this respect, the prepared product will be able to offer new innovative functionalities. After being built at a railway crossing, this system will enable the rail vehicle to stop completely in advance from an obstacle such as a damaged bus, truck, passenger car or any other obstacle, which, without the abovementioned system, will be destroyed at 100 % by the hitting rail vehicle. Stopping the vehicle will also protect the train passengers and the driver himself. This is the main reason for starting work on the above-mentioned system. (English)

L’objectif des travaux de recherche prévus dans le cadre du projet est de développer une nouvelle technologie de produit, qui sera le système d’identification des obstacles. En ce qui concerne les meilleures solutions du monde dans ce domaine, le produit en cours de préparation sera en mesure d’offrir de nouvelles fonctionnalités innovantes. Une fois construit sur un passage à niveau, ce système permettra au véhicule ferroviaire de s’arrêter complètement à l’avance contre un obstacle tel qu’un autobus, un camion, une voiture de tourisme ou tout autre obstacle endommagé qui, sans le système ci-dessus, sera détruit à 100 % par le véhicule ferroviaire qui le heurte. L’arrêt du véhicule protégera également les passagers du train et le conducteur lui-même. C’est la principale raison pour laquelle on a commencé à travailler sur le système susmentionné. (French)

Ziel der im Rahmen des Projekts geplanten Forschungsarbeiten ist die Entwicklung einer neuen Produkttechnologie, die das Hindernis-Identifizierungssystem sein wird. Im Hinblick auf die weltweit besten Lösungen in diesem Bereich wird das vorbereitete Produkt in der Lage sein, neue innovative Funktionalitäten anzubieten. Sobald es auf einer Bahnüberquerung gebaut ist, wird dieses System es dem Eisenbahnfahrzeug ermöglichen, vollständig im Voraus gegen ein Hindernis wie einen beschädigten Bus, LKW, Pkw oder ein anderes Hindernis zu stoppen, das ohne das oben genannte System zu 100 % durch das getroffene Schienenfahrzeug zerstört wird. Das Halten des Fahrzeugs schützt auch die Zugpassagiere und den Fahrer selbst. Dies ist der Hauptgrund für die Aufnahme der Arbeiten an dem oben genannten System. (German)
