Omawiany projekt dotyczy utworzenia profesjonalnego centrum badawczo-rozwojowego, w ramach struktury firmy Totem. Nadrzędnym zadaniem, jakie realizowane będzie w ramach CBR będzie prowadzenie prac związanych z aspektami druku wykonywanego w zwojowej technologii ink-jet. Docelowo powstanie rozwiązanie, które pozwoli na realizację kontroli druku "w locie" (z angielskiego "on the fly"), przez co możliwe stanie się szerokie wykorzystanie technologii zwojowej ink-jet w niskonakładowym druku wysokojakościowych wydawnictw albumowych. Opracowane rozwiązanie będzie szczególnie cenne, gdyż przyczyni się do możliwości realizacji druku wydawnictw wzbogaconych o elementy tzw. nowych mediów - np. elementy uzupełniające treść danego wydawnictwa o treści podane w formacie rzeczywistości rozszerzonej (AR) i/lub rzeczywistości wirtualnej (VR). This project concerns the creation of a professional R & D centre, within the framework of Totem’s structure. The overarching task to be carried out under the CBR will be to carry out work related to the aspects of printing carried out in web-based ink-jet technology. Ultimately, a solution will be created which will allow for the implementation of printing control “on the fly” (from English “on the fly”), which will make it possible to make extensive use of ink-jet web technology in low-volume printing of high-quality album releases. The developed solution will be particularly valuable, as it will contribute to the possibility of printing publications enriched with elements of so-called new media – e.g. elements supplementing the content of a given publisher with the content given in the format of extended reality (AR) and/or virtual reality (VR). Ce projet concerne la création d’un centre professionnel de R & D au sein de la structure de Totem. La tâche primordiale qui sera exécutée dans le cadre du CBR consistera à effectuer des travaux liés à des aspects de l’impression effectuée dans le cadre de la technologie de jet d’encre sur le Web. En fin de compte, une solution sera créée pour permettre la mise en place d’un contrôle d’impression «à la volée», ce qui permettra d’utiliser largement la technologie de jet d’encre en ligne pour l’impression à faible volume d’éditions d’albums de haute qualité. La solution sera particulièrement précieuse, car elle contribuera à la possibilité d’imprimer des publications enrichies d’éléments de ce que l’on appelle les nouveaux médias, par exemple des éléments complétant le contenu d’une publication donnée par un contenu donné sous forme de réalité augmentée (RA) et/ou de réalité virtuelle (VR). Dieses Projekt betrifft die Schaffung eines professionellen F & E-Zentrums innerhalb der Struktur von Totem. Die übergreifende Aufgabe, die im Rahmen des CBR ausgeführt wird, besteht in der Durchführung von Arbeiten im Zusammenhang mit Aspekten des Drucks, die in webbasierter Tintenstrahltechnologie ausgeführt werden. Letztlich wird eine Lösung geschaffen, die die Implementierung von „on the fly“-Drucksteuerung ermöglicht, die es ermöglicht, die Web-Feded-Inkjet-Technologie im Low-Volumen-Druck von hochwertigen Albumpublikationen umfassend zu nutzen. Die Lösung wird besonders wertvoll sein, da sie zur Möglichkeit des Drucks von Publikationen beitragen wird, die mit Elementen der sogenannten neuen Medien angereichert werden – z. B. Elemente, die den Inhalt einer bestimmten Publikation mit Inhalten im Format Augmented Reality (AR) und/oder Virtual Reality (VR) ergänzen. (German)
