Le projet CHIKVAX - Développement d'une nouvelle génération de vaccin : prototype vaccin contre le virus du Chikungunya – est un projet de R§D industriel qui vise à développer un vaccin contre une menace virale existante pour des millions d'individus et une menace probable pour la population du sud de la France, du sud de l'Europe et du sud des USA + la possibilité de développer en temps réels des vaccins contre de futures pandémies virales de plus en plus probables. L'objectif du projet est la mise en place d'une technologie totalement innovante permettant le développement rapide de candidats-vaccins préventifs contre des menaces virales, déployables rapidement en cas de pandémies et ne nécessitant que peu ou pas d'adjuvants. La validation de cette technologie se fait sur le virus du Chikungunya. Ce projet est un projet de RDI collaborative conduit sur 36 mois, Il a été validé par l’État dans le cadre du FUI 21 et regroupe les 4 partenaires industriels et académiques suivants : entreprises CILOA - Chef de file (PME Montpellier - Dpt 34), CALIXAR (PME Lyon - Dpt 69) – L’Institut National de la Santé et de la Recherche Médicale - INSERM – (Créteil Dpt 94) – L’Institut PASTEUR (Paris Dpt 75). Il a été labellisé par le pôle de compétitivité EUROBIOMED – axe métier médicament – thématique d’excellence immunologie. Pour l'entreprise CILOA, seul partenaire régional, le choix du financement s'est porté sur les fonds européens FEDER. (French)

The CHIKVAX project — Development of a new generation of vaccines: prototype vaccine against the Chikungunya virus — is an industrial R§D project that aims to develop a vaccine against an existing viral threat to millions of individuals and a probable threat to the population of southern France, southern Europe and the south of the USA + the possibility of developing in real time vaccines against future increasingly probable viral pandemics. The objective of the project is the development of a fully innovative technology enabling the rapid development of vaccine candidates preventive against viral threats, which can be rapidly deployable in the event of pandemics and require little or no adjuvants. The validation of this technology is done on the Chikungunya virus. This project is a collaborative RDI project conducted over 36 months, It has been validated by the State under FUI 21 and brings together the following 4 industrial and academic partners: companies CILOA — Lead (SME Montpellier — Dpt 34), Calixar (PME Lyon — Dpt 69) — Institut National de la Santé et de la Recherche Médicale — INSERM — (Créteil Dpt 94) — Institut PASTEUR (Paris Dpt 75). It has been labeled by the competitiveness cluster EUROBIOMED — drug business axis — thematic of immunology excellence. For CILOA, the only regional partner, the choice of funding was made by the European ERDF funds. (English)

Das CHIKVAX-Projekt – Entwicklung einer neuen Impfstoffgeneration: Prototyp Chikungunya Virus-Impfstoff – ist ein industrieller R§D-Projekt, das einen Impfstoff gegen eine bestehende Virusbedrohung für Millionen von Menschen und eine wahrscheinliche Bedrohung für die Bevölkerung von Südfrankreich, Südeuropa und Süden der USA entwickelt + die Möglichkeit, in Echtzeit Impfstoffe gegen zukünftige, immer wahrscheinlichere Viruspandemien zu entwickeln. Ziel des Projekts ist die Entwicklung einer völlig innovativen Technologie, die die rasche Entwicklung von Impfstoffkandidaten ermöglicht, die gegen Virusbedrohungen vorbeugen, die im Falle von Pandemien schnell einsetzbar sind und nur wenige oder gar keine Zusätze erfordern. Die Validierung dieser Technologie erfolgt auf dem Chikungunya Virus. Dieses Projekt ist ein kollaboratives FuEuI-Projekt durchgeführt über 36 Monate, Es wurde vom Staat im Rahmen des FUI 21 validiert und umfasst die folgenden 4 industriellen und akademischen Partner: Unternehmen CILOA – federführend (KMU Montpellier – Dpt 34), Calixar (KMU Lyon – Dpt 69) – L‚Institut National de la Santé et de la Recherche Médicale – INSERM – (Créteil Dpt 94) – L‘Institut PASTEUR (Paris Dpt 75). Es wurde vom Wettbewerbspol EUROBIOMED – Fachrichtung Arzneimittel – Thema der Exzellenz Immunologie ausgezeichnet. Für das Unternehmen CILOA, der einzige regionale Partner, wurde die Finanzierung aus den europäischen EFRE-Mitteln ausgewählt. (German)

Het CHIKVAX-project — Ontwikkeling van een nieuwe generatie vaccins: prototypevaccin tegen het Chikungunya-virus — is een industrieel R§D-project dat gericht is op de ontwikkeling van een vaccin tegen een bestaande virale bedreiging voor miljoenen individuen en een waarschijnlijke bedreiging voor de bevolking van Zuid-Frankrijk, Zuid-Europa en het zuiden van de VS + de mogelijkheid om in realtime vaccins te ontwikkelen tegen toekomstige, steeds waarschijnlijker virale pandemieën. Het doel van het project is de ontwikkeling van een volledig innovatieve technologie die de snelle ontwikkeling mogelijk maakt van vaccinkandidaten die preventief zijn tegen virale dreigingen, die in geval van pandemieën snel kunnen worden ingezet en weinig of geen adjuvantia nodig hebben. De validatie van deze technologie gebeurt op het Chikungunya virus.
