O projeto ECION assenta na ampliação e transformação dos atuais sistemas envolvidos nos processos de suporte à doença oncológica, desde o rastreio até ao acompanhamento regular do doente após alta hospitalar, passando pelo diagnóstico, pela referenciação entre cuidados, realização de exames, etc.. Desta forma, promover-se-à um ecossistema completo, em que a informação circula entre sistemas aplicacionais de forma transparente e ágil. (Portuguese)

The ECION project is based on the expansion and transformation of the current systems involved in the processes of cancer support, from screening to regular follow-up of the patient after hospital discharge, through diagnosis, referral between care, examinations, etc.. In this way, a complete ecosystem will be promoted, in which information circulates between application systems in a transparent and agile manner. (English)

Le projet ECION est basé sur l’expansion et la transformation des systèmes actuels impliqués dans les processus de soutien aux maladies cancéreuses, du dépistage au suivi régulier du patient après la sortie de l’hôpital, en passant par le diagnostic, l’orientation entre les soins, l’exécution des examens, etc. De cette manière, un écosystème complet sera promu, dans lequel l’information circule entre les systèmes d’application de manière transparente et agile.
