Climate change, soil degradation and pesticides overuse put sustainability of olive systems and product quality at risk. Here, a multi-disciplinary expertise team from Mountain Research Centre (CIMO) and Research Centre in Digitalization and Intelligent Robotics (CeDRI), will joint efforts to design and test new strategies based on soil management practices, smart farming or precision agriculture to improve oliveâs soil health and crop yield. As alterações climáticas, a degradação dos solos e a utilização excessiva de pesticidas colocam em risco a sustentabilidade dos sistemas oleícolas e a qualidade dos produtos. Aqui, uma equipa de especialização multidisciplinar do Centro de Investigação de Montanha (CIMO) e do Centro de Investigação em Digitalização e Robótica Inteligente (Cedri), irá unir esforços para conceber e testar novas estratégias baseadas em práticas de gestão do solo, agricultura inteligente ou agricultura de precisão para melhorar a saúde do solo e o rendimento das culturas olivais.
