    ЗП Мариана Митрева започва да проучва пчелните семейства и тяхнато отглеждане от любопитство. През 2004г. Започва да отглежда пчелни семейства, като тогава техният брой е едва 20. С течение на времето пчелните семейства нарастват, а тяхното отглеждане се превръща в повече от хоби за Мариана. През 2016г. тя официално се регистрира като земеделски производител и към настояща дата отглежда цели 124 пчелни семейства. Очаквания резултата от успешната реализация на проекта е увеличава на пчелните семейства от 124 до 164 бр. в период за 2 години. Това ще доведе до увеличаване на продуктивността, а това от своя страна ще доведе до по-висока продукция и разрастване на пазарния дял. Най-важната цел е увеличаване на броят на пчелите и запазване на тяхното биооразнообразие тъй като от 2012 г. наcам ЕС наблюдава висока смъртност на пчелите в почти всички европейски държави, в това число и България.
