The project consists of the replacement of 10 varnished lid drying furnaces. The furnaces that are currently available are of simple design and construction and, although they perform their tasks correctly, they do not offer optimal performance in terms of energy consumption. The new furnaces will have high precision electronic control, capable of fully accurate temperature regulation in real time, allowing always to work at the minimum working temperature. This type of regulation shall avoid overconsumption resulting from the need to record higher temperatures of the minimum necessary. The new furnaces will have internal air flow recirculation, so that the energy needed to reach the working temperature will be much lower than necessary if all the inlet air to the heater comes from the outside, much colder.
