La operación tiene su origen en una segunda fase de obra de rehabilitación integral del conjunto edificatorio Palacio Marianao, consistente en un edificio que forma parte del Patrimonio Arquitectónico Histórico Local. El edificio consta de 4 bloques, de diferentes alturas, con dos torreones que destacan su singular concepción, un palacete castillo, promovido y construido por el Marques de Marianao en 1880. Adquirido por el Ayuntamiento en los años '80. Durante casi tres décadas fue cedido al Ministerio de justicia e Interior, y funcionó como sede de los Juzgados y de la oficina pasaporte y DNI de la Policía Nacional. Tras reubicar a partir de 2007 esas dependencias en el centro de la ciudad, el Ayuntamiento y la agencia Acc1ó de la Generalitat, impulsaron la creación del Cluster de Salut Mental. Centrando en el Palau Marianao la mayor parte de su actividad._x000D_ La rehabilitación contempla la restauración de la fachada y cubierta del ala donde se ubicaba la Policía Nacional, el refuerzo de la estructura, la dotación de infraestructuras de suministros, la apertura de espacios polivalentes y el diseño colaborativo del futuro plan de usos del centro de formación e impulso de proyectos relacionados con la salud. El objetivo de las inversiones que se llevaran a cabo a través de tres fases sucesivas de proyectos, seria ampliar la superficie habilitada para las actividades docentes, de investigación y formación, recuperando paso a paso, los elementos constructivos, parcialmente algunos ya muy degradados, devolviéndole el esplendor de otros tiempos, tanto a nivel estético, patrimonial como funcional. The operation originates in a second phase of integral rehabilitation of the building complex Palacio Marianao, consisting of a building that forms part of the Local Historical Architectural Heritage. The building consists of 4 blocks, of different heights, with two towers that highlight its unique conception, a castle palace, promoted and built by the Marques de Marianao in 1880. Acquired by the City Council in the 1980s. For almost three decades it was handed over to the Ministry of Justice and the Interior, and served as the seat of the courts and of the passport and DNI office of the National Police. After relocating from 2007 these units in the center of the city, the City Council and the Acc1ó agency of the Generalitat, promoted the creation of the Mental Salut Cluster. Focusing on the Palau Marianao most of its activity._x000D_ The rehabilitation contemplates the restoration of the facade and roof of the wing where the National Police was located, the reinforcement of the structure, the provision of supply infrastructures, the opening of multipurpose spaces and the collaborative design of the future plan of uses of the training center and promotion of health-related projects. The objective of the investments that will be carried out through three successive phases of projects, would be to expand the area enabled for teaching, research and training activities, recovering step by step, the construction elements, partially some already very degraded, giving it the splendor of other times, both aesthetically, heritage and functional.
