Projekt bezpośrednio dotyczy rozbudowy i uruchomienia kanalizacji sanitarnej w miejscowości Wysoka Lelowska na terenie Gminy Żarki wraz z niezbędną modernizacją przepompowni ścieków w m. Żarki przy ul. Leśniowskiej. Projekt jest zorientowany na racjonalizację gospodarowania zasobami wodnymi, w specyficznym hydrogeologicznie obszarze Jury Krakowsko–Częstochowskiej, w kontekście deficytu wód oraz występujących zanieczyszczeń. Będzie on kontynuacją procesu rozwoju infrastruktury przeznaczonej dla gospodarki wodno-ściekowej w Gminie Żarki w związku z koniecznością wypełnienia zobowiązań wynikających z Traktatu Akcesyjnego w zakresie ochrony środowiska. Wg. mapy hydrogeologicznej teren objęty projektem należy do obszarów o bardzo wysokim stopniu zagrożenia użytkowego wód podziemnych co potęguje pozytywne oddziaływanie projektu na środowisko naturalne i ekosystem gminy Żarki. Przedmiotowy projekt wykorzysta także istniejącą bazę infrastrukturalną w dziedzinie kanalizacji i oczyszczania. (Polish)

The project directly concerns the extension and commissioning of sanitary sewage in Wysoka Lelowska in the commune of Żarki together with the necessary modernisation of the sewage pumping plant in Żarki Street. It’s a Leśniowska. The project is focused on rationalisation of water resources management, in the hydrogeologically specific area of the Krakow-Częstochowa Jura, in the context of water deficit and pollution. It will continue the process of developing infrastructure for water and sewage management in the Żarka commune, in view of the need to fulfil its obligations under the Accession Treaty in the field of environmental protection. According to the hydrogeological map, the area covered by the project is one of the areas with a very high level of groundwater operational hazard, which increases the positive impact of the project on the environment and ecosystem of Żarki commune. This project will also make use of the existing infrastructure base in the field of sewage and purification. (English)
